2020 has forced all of us to think “outside the box” and do things differently in order to continue to do business. Sooooo….. this year we are asking the 60 people who are allowed to be in Church that day to please bring your pledge cards with you as usual to be blessed. Everyone else, we’re asking you take a quick Sunday drive and come by the front steps of the Church that day between 12:00 and 1:00 and drop off your pledge in the basket.
Make lunch plans for next Friday, October 23rd. AHEPA and the Daughters will be serving up Gyros, Fries and Baklava from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. All proceeds go to benefit their scholarship funds. So come on down for good food and support a good cause.

Friday, Sept. 11th & Saturday, Sept. 12th from 11am – 7pm we will be open for Drive-Thru service. Unfortunately, thanks to COVID, we can’t hold our usual festival, BUT…we will still be serving up some amazing Greek Food and Pastries. Our menu includes Roasted Lamb Shank, Greek Lemon Chicken, Lamb/Beef Gyros, Spanikopita, Dolmathes, Pastitsio, Baklava and other assorted pastries.
Greek School is the Modern Greek Language education program of the Cathedral and is registered through the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America’s Department of Greek Education. Greek School offers educational and lifetime enrichment through developing vocabulary and confidence in Greek Language speaking and writing skills.
In light of the recent decisions by the Turkish Prime Minister and the Turkish government to convert the Great Church of the Hagia Sophia from a museum to a mosque, this presentation will offer reflections on the Hagia Sophia from past to present times. From its construction by Justinian in the sixth century, to the height of Byzantine imperial ceremonies in the 10th and 11th centuries, to its conversion by the Latin crusaders to a Roman Catholic cathedral in 1204

My dear fellow parishioners, Over the past few weeks we have had to redefine “normal”. We have moved to live streaming our services and video Bible Study as well as meeting remotely via computer, etc. The burden each of us carries through this difficult time is sad but also strengthens us as a community.
