Archbishop Elpidophoros of America will visit the Metropolis of Detroit on April 10th. He will participate in this years’ Independence Day Parade. On April 12th there will be Great Compline and a reception at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in Sterling Heights MI. This is open to all the faithful of the Metropolis.

We join our spirit to the spirit of His All-Holiness Archbishop Elpidophoros and exhort all our Faithful. Together, the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and IOCC aim to raise $1 million for both immediate and long-term support of the Ukrainian people. In Honor of Greek Independence Day we are raising the Greek flag on Friday, March 25 @ 11:30 in front of One Government Centre in downtown Toledo. If you would like to carpool to the site we will be meeting at the church at 11:00 to consolidate cars.
