In light of the recent decisions by the Turkish Prime Minister and the Turkish government to convert the Great Church of the Hagia Sophia from a museum to a mosque, this presentation will offer reflections on the Hagia Sophia from past to present times. From its construction by Justinian in the sixth century, to the height of Byzantine imperial ceremonies in the 10th and 11th centuries, to its conversion by the Latin crusaders to a Roman Catholic cathedral in 1204
Once again, it is that time of the year to get ready for Workshops. We all need to work together to make Taste of Greece a huge success. Due to the Coronavirus a few changes will be in place. • EVERYONE must wear a face mask • To ensure Social Distancing PLEASE CALL Connie at (419) 250-4899 before coming down.
As we enter into the second phase the number of worshipers will go up to 60. Like before, once we reach that number no one else will be allowed in. In order to make sure everyone who wants to worship has an opportunity, we will continue asking everyone to sign up on our google sign-up sheet https://www.holytrinitytoledo.com/signup-sheet/. We will continue to have additional Liturgies during the week for those who would rather come on those days.
Dear Parish Family and Friends, During these challenging times it is important that we do our best to support each other. Below please find a list of parish owned restaurants. Please do your best to support them. Thank you! – Emmanuel Yakumithis and Father Larry Legakis
