What a difference a year can make…
Now that 2016 is officially a memory, the Stewardship Committee can now look back and reflect upon the results of the 2016 Stewardship campaign. But in order to truly give you an accurate picture of the strides this community has made in regards to Stewardship, we need to take you back to 2015.
At the close of the 2015 Stewardship Campaign total offerings brought in by that Stewardship campaign was $221,560. Fast-forward to the end of our 2016 Stewardship Campaign… we ended 2016 with total offerings of $237,000. That is a $16,000 increase in giving to our Church!!!
It goes without saying, but we should say it, every day, that all of this would NOT be possible without the generosity and hard work of this community. We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Carole Faoiz for all her hard work in keeping all of our offerings organized and recorded correctly! What would we do without her!!! When we all work together, we make GREAT things happen! Our theme for 2017 is “Be a Part of the Holy Trinity Team!” We believe that everyone is starting to hear the message that we will measure our success this year based on our ability to increase the number of stewards who make a commitment of time and talent to this Church.
As we stated on Sunday, January 22nd, we have already completed the first quarter of Stewardship for 2017. We currently have 131 stewards pledging $126,752. We know have a long way to go to achieve our goal of $250,000, but your Stewardship Committee is very optimistic and believes that we will once again “move the ball forward!” We can do this by challenging everyone to spread the word about the good works happening here at Holy Trinity and encourage everyone to make a commitment in some way to our beloved Holy Trinity Cathedral!
