As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”
John 20:21

Welcome summer and blessings to everyone from your Stewardship committee!  With this being the last ECHO Stewardship article for June, July, and August, it is very important to remember that these summer months are crucial to try and achieve our 2017 Stewardship Commitment goal of $250,000.  Though our focus right now is on supporting our summer luncheons and beginning the physical work of preparing for our festival, we can’t lose sight of the importance of having ALL of our parishioners supporting and contributing to our Stewardship program.  Don’t forget to make a phone call this summer and invite someone to come with you to any one of the many events happening at our beloved Holy Trinity. Once someone feels welcome and wanted, they can’t help but return and become more involved.  These are all AMAZING opportunities to bring in many of the over 500 possible Stewards that are on our registry for Holy Trinity, and invite these people to become active participants in our Holy Trinity family.

The Stewardship Committee is also excited to inform you about a “new” computer program called Parish Data Systems that has been adopted by our parish as of February 1st.  Over a third of the parishes around the country are already on this system. Carole has been thoroughly trained on this program and as a result, will be sending out “new” quarterly statements that will be arriving shortly to your homes.  The beauty of these new statements lies in their transparency and the excellent information that they provide our parishioners.  It not only affords us all the ability to see the contributions that we personally make to the Church, but it also allows us to see how we are progressing as a unified community, working towards reaching our yearly goal.

If you have already made a Stewardship Commitment for 2017, thank you so much!  If you haven’t made a pledge to Holy Trinity yet, please consider doing so.  This community works best when we all work together towards a common goal.  Have a safe rest of your summer and please feel free to contact Carole or any member of the Stewardship Committee if you have any questions or concerns about your Stewardship Commitment.       Always remember …

“If every person understood that we are ALL in essence members of the Stewardship Committee by virtue of being a member of Holy Trinity, we would ALL be working hard to make sure that EVERYONE makes a commitment in some way to their ability, to the Church. This is the real solution to the future stability of Holy Trinity.”
